Foreseeing the growth of the agrochemical industry and his unmatched quest for knowledge prompted, Mr Aggarwal to visit agriculturally advanced countries of the world, to acquire new technologies and systems that could be deployed in India to enhance field productivity across the crop spectrum.

After completing his Bachelors in Science (Chemistry), Mr Aggarwal joined his family business of fertilizers and pesticides, which was one the biggest trading set-ups between 1968-72. In 1972, he started manufacturing Zinc Sulphate and introduced it in North India for the first time. In 1974, he took to monitoring the production process in the new pesticide plant established by the company.

Mr Aggarwal has many introductions to his credit such as Acetamiprid, Imidacloprid, Cartap hydrochloride, Abamectin, Emamectin Benzoate that have served the Indian farming community at relatively affordable prices for many years. Under his encouraging and strategic guidance, the R&D Division of the company has successfully conducted multiple field trials and educated Indian farmers on the judicious use of many agro-chemicals.

Apart from being a successful and an extraordinarily dynamic professional, he is also a philanthropist. Mr Aggarwal has been the Director of CCFI, President of HPMA, active member of CAPMA. He is also associated with Maharaja Agrasen Welfare Society as an Executive Member & Advisor, Nagrik Suraksha Samiti as Convener and as a President of Gopal Gau Sadan. He is actively involved in Social Religious & Political activities in Delhi. He has been Indian Agriculture should take the lead among the global scenario of agriculture industry in terms yield per acres.
