Package of practice
  • Seed rate - 3-4 kg/acre
  • Plant to plant distance - 10-12 cm
  • Row to row distance - 30 cm
  • Sowing window - Spring: Feb-April - Kharif: May-July
  • First cut should be after 30-40 days of planting
  • It should be cut above 8 inch to 10 inch height from the ground level
  • After every cut give irrigation on same day or next day
  • Don't feed fodder up to 21 days, after any insecticidal spray
  • Apply adequate Nitrogen and water for regeneration of fresh leaves & stems.
